Bringing on big investors and launching a world-changing brand.
The founders of BetaBank asked us to brand their bold, new small business bank, based on the belief that when small business succeeds, we all succeed. They developed a proprietary way to remove human bias from lending to help overcome the longstanding inequity in traditional banking. And they had a vision for streamlined digital delivery to lower the cost of small business loans. They wanted their brand expression to be as differentiated and daring as their idea. They also needed help telling their story to investors as well as launch materials to land their first customers.
We started by developing a logo, brand identity, and narrative that powerfully expresses how BetaBank is a radical reimagining of how banking can be. In addition to this work and the investor presentation, we created a pre-launch video that told their origin story in an authentic and emotionally compelling way.
The materials we crafted helped them announce the bank to the world. The BetaBank story is resonating with small businesses. The video was released in early June as part of the pre-launch and within weeks there were over 4,000 sign-ups and over 470,000 views. The official launch is planned for early 2023.
